This role focuses on helping customers complete driver licensing and identification processes while supporting safe and secure service. You will assist with applications, testing, and verification procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance. As a Driver License Examiner Assistant, you will perform the following duties:

• Verify Identification: Verify applicant identity documents and review application information
• Administer Tests: Administer written knowledge exams and conduct basic vision screenings
• Enter Data: Enter customer information and test results into on-line licensing systems
• Provide Guidance: Respond to customer questions and explain requirements for services
• Process Transactions: Process renewals, duplicates, transfers, and other license-related requests

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment, 40 hours/week
• Work hours are 8:15 AM to 4:45 PM, Tuesday - Saturday, with a 30-minute lunch.
• Overtime and travel to other driver license centers may be required as necessary.
• Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position
• Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• One year of experience obtaining, evaluating, and providing information to the public.

Other Requirements:
