Job summary

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a Driver License Examiner Assistant to support a busy Driver License Center. You will greet customers, administer tests, enter data, explain license requirements, and ensure compliance with REAL ID and Title VI rules. This full-time role requires one year of public-facing experience and PA residency.

Work hours are 8:15 AM to 4:45 PM, Tuesday through Saturday, with a 30-minute lunch. Telework is not available.

Qualifications

• One year of experience obtaining, evaluating, and providing information to the public.
• You must meet the PA residency requirement.
• You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, verify identification, and provide needed forms and information.
• Conduct vision screenings and administer standardized knowledge tests
• Enter customer applications and test results into online systems
• Explain requirements for various license products
• Apply REAL ID rules, fee waiver guidelines, and Title VI requirements
• Maintain an organized, clean, and accessible workstation
