Job summary

Wyoming Independent Living is seeking a Part-Time Driver (PRN) with a variable schedule of up to 15 hours per week. Responsibilities include driving staff to appointments and providing door-to-door service, with assistance for lifting equipment as needed.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass a background check. Hours are no more than 15 per week, with a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
• Flexibility in scheduling of hours for driving.
• Operates a low-profile vehicle without sidesteps for accessibility
• A valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the past three years.
• Must complete a background check with results satisfactory to WIL, including criminal history, motor vehicle records, and sex offender registry.
• Must have knowledge of relevant traffic laws and safe motor vehicle operation.
• Must read, understand, and follow route directions and maps.
• Expected hours: No more than 15 per week.

Responsibilities

Wyoming Independent Living is currently seeking a Part-Time Driver. This is a provisional PRN position, with a variable schedule of up to 15 hours per week. Additional hours may be scheduled as needed. The principal responsibilities for this position include:

Drive staff to scheduled appointments. Provide friendly, prompt, door-to-door, round trip service. Provide support to include lifting and carrying equipment, as needed.
