Job summary

TWO MEN AND A JUNK TRUCK® is urgently hiring junk removal drivers in Bethel Park, PA. This part-time position offers a pay range of $17 - $21 per hour, plus commission and tips. Qualifications

Pay range: $17 - $21 per hour + commission and tips.

TWO MEN AND A JUNK TRUCK® is hiring junk removal drivers.

• The Driver / Junk Specialist is responsible for driving a Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) as well as removing and disposing of unwanted goods from customers’ homes and businesses.
• A CDL license is not required and we will train you!
• Driver’s license required

Compensation

• Training wage of $17 per hour
• Driver base pay $21 per hour

  • Commission! Drivers receive 4% commission on junk jobs plus their hourly rate

Responsibilities

• Safely, responsibly, and professionally operates the commercial motor vehicle (junk truck) and monitors their functionality
• Completes all haul-a-way / Junk removal related paperwork and ensures paperwork and revenues collected are properly dropped in safe at the end of the work day
• Organizes and secures truck at the end of each job and ensures truck and equipment is maintained in a clean, safe and professional manner
• Conducts pre/post-trip truck inspections and haul-a-way / junk removal equipment inventory
• Safely removes any unwanted items from the customers' home or business using proper hauling equipment and techniques and follows the necessary prescribed policies
• Must wear a clean, approved TWO MEN AND A JUNK TRUCK® uniform at all times
• Maintains a positive image of TWO MEN AND A JUNK TRUCK® by ensuring proper hygiene

Requirements

• High‑school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 18 years or older with a clean driving record is required
• One year of previous driving experience with a Commercial Motor Vehicle preferred
• Excellent customer service skills
• Must be able to work weekends
• Able to be a team player and must listen and communicate in an effective, helpful and friendly manner with co‑workers, customers and management
• Ability to direct the work of others when necessary
• Has strength and agility to carry and load items into truck and a good sense of balance
• Physical Demands: frequently required to stand, walk, talk, sit, hear, use hands and fingers, handle, feel and/or lift with hands and arms. Occasionally required to lift 100 pounds or more. Vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
