• Must have current work experience as CDL A Truck Driver IV for Pitney Bowes Presort Services.
• At least 21 years old.
• Valid Class A license and DOT requirements met.
• Minimum 6 months verifiable tractor-trailer driving, 50,000 miles in last 5 years.
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs. and performing physical tasks.
• Willing to work mandatory overtime, weekends/holidays with little notice.
• Basic English to follow safety and directions.

Job Description:

Join Pitney Bowes as a CDL A Truck Driver IV open schedule in Romulus, MI! Your work open schedule will be Sunday through Saturday from your schedule as needed. Your hourly Pay: $29.00, paid weekly with an opportunity for overtime.

Responsibilities:

• Daily Log Maintenance: Keep a detailed driver’s log or route sheet for mileage, stops, and cargo, or utilize the ELD system.
• Schedule Adherence: Maintain pickup and delivery schedules, meeting deadlines using software tools.
• Vehicle and Work Area Cleanliness: Ensure your vehicle and work area are clean and well-maintained.
• Safety and Security: Understand and follow all safety and security precautions and company policies.
• Attendance: Maintain regular attendance.
• Technology Use: Utilize all required cell phone applications effectively.
• Policy Compliance: Demonstrate and adhere to safety and security precautions and company policies.

Qualifications:

• Must have current work experience at Pitney Bowes as a CDL A Truck Driver IV for Presort Services.
• Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years old.
• Licensing: Hold a valid Class A License and meet applicable DOT requirements for CDL.
• Experience: Have a minimum of six months of verifiable driving experience and at least 50,000 miles in the last five years driving a tractor-trailer (semi) truck with a safe driving record.
• Physical Ability: Capable of lifting at least 50 lbs., walking, standing, stooping, and bending with or without accommodations.
• Flexibility: Ability to work mandatory overtime, which may include weekends, holidays, and/or different shifts with little or no advance notice.
• Language Skills: Basic understanding of English to comprehend and follow safety and operational directions communicated in English.
