Job summary

Airgas is seeking a Shuttle Delivery Driver in Angleton, TX to safely transport compressed gas cylinders to local and regional customers. The role involves loading, unloading, and securing cylinders, with daily home return and a day-shift schedule.

The position requires a TX Class A CDL with Hazmat, Airbrake, and Tanker endorsements, a valid Medical Examiner's Card, and the ability to obtain forklift certification. Benefits include medical/dental/vision and a 401(k) plan.

As a key representative of Airgas, the delivery driver contributes to thesafeand efficient delivery of compressed gas cylinders tolocal and regional business customersfrom an Airgas branch or plant location using a company provided tractor trailer, straight, or box truck. This position involvesloading, unloading, and returning compressed gas cylinderswhile frequently connecting with Airgas customers.

Are you a MATCH?

Required Qualifications

• Valid TX Class A Commercial Driver's License with Hazmat, Airbrake & Tanker endorsements.
• Valid Medical Examiner's Card.
• Ability to obtain forklift operator certification.
• One (1) year of prior Class A professional driving experience within the last five (5) years with a clean driving record (no more than two (2) convictions OR two (2) at-fault accidents in the last three years; OR no more than a combination of one (1) conviction and one (1) at-fault accident in the last three years).
• Alternatively, a diploma from an accredited driving school and a minimum of one (1) year of prior driving experience within the last five (5) years may be considered.
• Must be at least 21 years or older.
• Ability to obtain and maintain necessary safety credentials for customer site access.
• Ability to read and comprehend material safety data sheets.
• Ability to routinely lift 25 - 75 lbs., and occasionally lift 76 to greater than 125 pounds with the aid of material handling equipment.
• Ability to work independently and under some pressure to meet deadlines.
• Must be able to work occasional overtime if necessary.
