Job summary

H. Betti Industries, Inc in Bensenville, IL is seeking a Driver/Installer to transport and install amusement and vending equipment at customer locations. You will load/unload, secure cargo, operate 26’ box trucks, and meet DOT requirements. Overtime may be required and benefits include paid holidays and health coverage.

The role requires lifting up to 80 lbs, forklift ability, map/GPS proficiency, and attention to safety.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 6 months of delivery driver experience.
• Must be able to operate large trucks (26’ box trucks) in accordance with state/local laws.
• DOT Physical and Class C license endorsements required.
• Experience with amusement/vending equipment a plus.
• Ability to lift 80+ lbs and move heavy equipment.
• Forklift certified and able to operate stand-up/sit-down forklifts.

Responsibilities

• Transport equipment between locations and install equipment per standards.
• Load/unload equipment from trucks/trailers and secure items for transit.
• Assemble and test amusement/vending machines at customer sites.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in warehouse and trucks.
• Coordinate shipments and crate equipment as needed.

Driver/Installer

Summary:The Driver/Installer position is responsible for the transport of equipment from one location to another, typically within a local or regional area. This role involves various tasks such as loading and unloading equipment, ensuring proper securing of items to prevent damage during transit, and following safe driving practices. This role also installs equipment in designated locations in a safe and courteous manner and in accordance with established standards and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Set-up and prep of amusement and vending machine devices.
• Delivery and set up of amusement and vending machines.
• Responsible for the overall cleanliness of the warehouse and truck areas.
• Ensure truck is always DOT compliant before leaving garage.
• Learn process of cleaning, repairing, and testing video, pinball, and redemption games.
• Unloading/Loading of product from trucks/trailers.
• Receive and unpack amusement equipment to select warehouse locations.
• Effectively and efficiently package outbound shipment to customers, this includes building pallets and crating.
• Fill requisitions and orders.
• Ensure that safety and compliance practices meet OSHA standards.
• Maintain standards for cleanliness, organization, and safety throughout the warehouse.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Packing orders for shipment.
• Carpentry skills a plus.
• Applicant must have a minimum of 6 months of delivery driver experience.
• Must be able to operate large trucks (26’ box trucks) in accordance with state and or local laws.
• Driver’s License – Must pass a DOT Physical and get a class C endorsement.
• Amusement/Vending Industry experience a plus, but not necessary.
• Pass physical indicating they can meet DOT and the physical requirements of the position.
• Must be able to handle (Load, Unload, push, pull, lift, carry, etc...) all equipment including Video games, Vending, Redemption and Parts.
• Must be able to lift/carry 80+ lbs. and move 50 sq. ft./1000 lbs. fragile pieces alone with help of pump jack.
• Deliveries can include curbs and inside white glove deliveries.
• Able to safely and securely crate equipment and coordinate shipments.
• Must be able to handle pump jack and dollies. Must be able to operate a stand-up and sit-down forklift. Forklift certified.
• Loading and unloading of trucks and maintaining orderly warehouse.
• Computer, hand scanner and paperwork skills a plus.
• Must be punctual and able to work overtime as business requires.
• Must be knowledgeable of how to use a map or GPS.
• Experience in local DOT rules and regulations.
• Class C IL License required.
