H. Betti Industries, Inc is seeking a Driver/Installer to transport and install amusement and vending machines. You will load, unload, and secure equipment, perform on-site installations, and ensure compliance with DOT and OSHA standards.

The role requires the ability to lift heavy equipment, operate 26' box trucks, and navigate routes using maps or GPS. A valid IL class C license and DOT fitness are required; generous benefits, paid holidays, and a casual work environment are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of delivery driver experience.
• Must pass a DOT physical and obtain class C endorsement.
• Forklift certified is preferred; ability to operate a stand-up and sit-down forklift.

Responsibilities

Summary:The Driver/Installer position is responsible for the transport of equipment from one location to another, typically within a local or regional area. This role involves various tasks such as loading and unloading equipment, ensuring proper securing of items to prevent damage during transit, and following safe driving practices. This role also installs equipment in designated locations in a safe and courteous manner and in accordance with established standards and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Set-up and prep of amusement and vending machine devices.
• Delivery and set up of amusement and vending machines.
• Responsible for the overall cleanliness of the warehouse and truck areas.
• Ensure truck is always DOT compliant before leaving garage.
• Learn process of cleaning, repairing, and testing video, pinball, and redemption games.
• Unloading/Loading of product from trucks/trailers.
• Receive and unpack amusement equipment to select warehouse locations.
• Effectively and efficiently package outbound shipment to customers, this includes building pallets and crating.
• Fill requisitions and orders.
• Ensure that safety and compliance practices meet OSHA standards.
• Maintain standards for cleanliness, organization, and safety throughout the warehouse.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Packing orders for shipment.
• Carpentry skills a plus.
• Applicant must have a minimum of 6 months of delivery driver experience.
• Must be able to operate large trucks (26' box trucks) in accordance with state and or local laws.
• Driver's License - Must pass a DOT Physical and get a class C endorsement.
• Amusement/Vending Industry experience a plus, but not necessary.
• Pass physical indicating they can meet DOT and the physical requirements of the position.
• Must be able to handle (Load, Unload, push, pull, lift, carry, etc...) all equipment including Video games, Vending, Redemption and Parts.
• Must be able to lift/carry 80+ lbs. and move 50 sq. ft./1000 lbs. fragile pieces alone with help of pump jack.
• Deliveries can include curbs and inside white glove deliveries.
• Able to safely and securely crate equipment and coordinate shipments.
• Must be able to handle pump jack and dollies. Must be able to operate a stand-up and sit-down forklift. Forklift certified.
• Loading and unloading of trucks and maintaining orderly warehouse.
• Computer, hand scanner and paperwork skills a plus.
• Must be punctual and able to work overtime as business requires.
• Must be knowledgeable of how to use a map or GPS.
• Experience in local DOT rules and regulations.
• Class C IL License required.
