Job summary

Quality Brands Distribution is seeking route delivery drivers to deliver and merchandise products across Nebraska and South Dakota, building professional relationships with account partners.

Responsibilities include daily vehicle inspections, safe driving, completing deliveries, reporting opportunities, rotating displays, balancing invoices, and maintaining clean tractor/trailer. Benefits include health coverage, retirement options, PTO after 90 days, and disability insurance.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license or ability to obtain CDL permit.
• Must be 21+ years old.
• Physically able to handle product (heavy lifting) up to 100 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Complete Pre-Trip/Post-Trip and Vehicle Inspections daily.
• Drive safely and follow all driving laws.
• Complete delivery calls as scheduled by Team Leader.
• Report competitive activity to Account Representative.
• Rotate displays and manage back stock.
• Sort sellable vs non-sellable products.
• Balance invoices and cash received.
• Clean and organize the tractor and trailer.
• Check in days ending load with Operations.
• Develop professional relationships with customers.
• Maintain a safety-focused work environment.
• Comply with state liquor laws.

Overview:

Route delivery drivers are responsible for the delivery and merchandising of all products distributed by Quality Brands. They develop and maintain professional business relationships with all of our account partners.

Responsibilities

• Complete Pre-Trip/Post-Trip and Vehicle Inspection Report forms on a daily basis.
• Drive safely and adhere to all State Driving Laws and Regulations.
• Complete all delivery calls assigned for that day and additional delivery calls when directed by your Team Leader.
• Monitor and report all competitive activity and opportunities to the applicable Account Representative.
• Rotate all displays, back stock and shelves (where applicable).
• Sort sellable and non-sellable product when returning product to the warehouse.
• Balance invoices and currency received.
• Clean and organize the inside of the tractor and trailer daily.
• Check in days ending load with Operations Team Leader/ Warehouse.
• Develop and maintain a professional business relationship with all customers.
• Maintain a safety conscience work environment.
• Comply with all State Liquor Laws and Regulations.

Requirements

• Must be +21 years old
• Must be qualified to operate applicable Company vehicles.
• Capable of fulfilling non-normal workday hours.
• CDL class A license or capable of obtaining CDL permit.
• Forklift certification required or willing to obtain.
• Physically able to handle all Company products – Department of Labor Level 4 Heavy Work Job Evaluation (exerting 50-100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly).

Compensation

• Salary is between $40k-$50k based on experience.
