PREMIUM LOAVES is hiring a Delivery Driver located in Normal, IL. In this role, you will be responsible for safely delivering sandwich orders, taking phone orders, and maintaining accuracy in cash handling.

Qualified candidates must be at least 18 years old, possess a valid driver's license, and have reliable transportation. Full-time employees are eligible for benefits including medical and paid time off. The hourly pay ranges from $15.00 to $16.00.

Qualifications

• Must have a clean driving record.

• Must pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all in‑shop tasks while not on a delivery.
• Know your schedule, arrive on time or call your manager before your scheduled start time if you will be late.
• Takes phone orders and completes delivery tickets in a courteous and timely manner.
• Delivers sandwich orders to customers in a safe, courteous, and timely manner within the established delivery area only.
• Accepts payment from customers for orders and provides correct change without cash handling errors.
• Works with management at the end of the shift to reconcile cash from delivery sales, including accepting tips, DMR, and confirming miles driven for the shift based on the current systems in place.
• Fills out systems and procedures with 100% accuracy and integrity.
• Maintains professional appearance at all times in compliance with Jimmy John's Dress Code.
• Displays a positive and enthusiastic approach to all assignments.
• Performs other related duties as requested.
• Displays a sense of urgency in all tasks.

Skills & Abilities

• Must be able to communicate, read, and write the English language fluently and clearly.
• Position requires bending, reaching, stooping, climbing, repetitive motions, cognitive skills, lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, and moving around the unit the entire workday.
• Must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, current automobile insurance, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Employment is contingent upon successfully passing a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check.
