Job summary

PREMIUM LOAVES is looking for a Delivery Driver in Aurora, CO. Your primary goal will be to deliver sandwiches quickly while ensuring safety and customer satisfaction. You'll be responsible for taking orders, delivering them, and handling payment transactions.

The ideal candidate must be at least 18 years old, possess a valid driver's license, and be fluent in English. Full-time employees are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a retirement plan.

Overview

Jimmy John's Delivery Driver’s goal is to get that sandwich in the customer’s hand as quickly as possible while maintaining safety and customer service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all Inshopper tasks while not on a delivery.
• Know your schedule, arrive on time or if you are going to be late, call your manager before your scheduled start time.
• Takes phone orders and completes delivery tickets in a courteous and timely manner.
• Delivers sandwich orders to customers in a safe, courteous, and timely manner in the established delivery area only.
• Accepts payment from customers for orders and provides correct change without cash handling errors.
• Works with management at the end of the shift to reconcile cash from delivery sales, including accepting tips, DMR, and confirming miles driven for the shift based on the current systems in place.
• Fills out systems and procedures with 100% accuracy and integrity.
• Maintains professional appearance at all times in compliance with Jimmy John's Dress Code.
• Displays a positive and enthusiastic approach to all assignments.
• Performs other related duties as requested.
• Displays a sense of urgency in all tasks.

Skills & Abilities

• Must be able to communicate, read, and write the English language fluently and clearly.
• Position requires bending, reaching, stooping, climbing, repetitive motions, cognitive skills, lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, and moving about the unit the entire workday.
• Must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, current automobile insurance, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

Employment is contingent upon successfully passing a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check.
