AdventHealth in Greenwood Village, CO is seeking a full-time transportation courier responsible for moving biological specimens, medical supplies, and related paperwork on scheduled routes. You will coordinate with internal dispatch, ensure secure handling of items, and maintain delivery records.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, a valid Driver's License, and prior courier experience. Forklift certification is preferred to assist loading and unloading tasks.

Job Description:

Adheres to all safety protocols and procedures during transportation. Communicates effectively with relevant departments to coordinate transportation needs. Operates transportation vehicles in compliance with traffic laws and organizational policies. Maintains cleanliness and proper functioning of transportation vehicles. Reports any vehicle maintenance issues or incidents promptly. Other duties as assigned. Utilizes tracking systems and devices to monitor the status of transported items. Follows proper procedures for the transport of hazardous materials. Provides excellent customer service during interactions with staff and clients. Completes required training and certifications for safe transportation practices. Transports biological specimens, medical supplies, equipment, reports, patient care records, pharmacy preparations, and related paperwork according to defined schedules or urgent requests. Leverages technology to communicate with internal dispatch command center Ensures the security and proper handling of all transported items. Maintains accurate and timely delivery records for all transported items.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to communicate effectively and the ability to work with people of various backgrounds. [Required]
Self-starter that can budget his/her time and activities as needed to accomplish the task at hand. [Required]
Ability to identify, sort items and organize the cargo to deliver it to the right place at the right time. [Required]

Ability to use scanning device to help log and track all deliveries. [Required]
