Job summary

Sheput Logistics LLC is seeking a part-time helper in Jackson, TN to assist delivery drivers in handling and delivering packages for a national technology company. The role emphasizes reliability, independence, flexibility, and customer satisfaction on a fast-paced route.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Must pass a background check and a 4-panel drug screening.
• Good English speaking, reading, writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Successfully handle and deliver packages on time.
• Follow all local and state laws and Company policies.
• Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction even under stressful conditions.
• Load and unload packages; operate delivery vehicle as needed.
• Use a smartphone for GPS, scanning, clocking in/out, and team communications.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Successfully handle anddeliverpackageson time
• Follow all local & state laws and Company policies
• Provideexcellent customer serviceand satisfaction despite stressful events / conditions
• Keep paceinphysically demandingjob; work in allweatherconditions and on various routes;liftpackages weighing up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis;maneuverpackages weighing up to 70 lbs., using material handling equipment, or up to 300 pounds as part of a delivery team; get in and out of a van repeatedly throughout the day at variable locations
• Communicate effectivelywith support team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure deliveries are completed
• Usesmart phone devicefor GPS Navigation, scanning packages, conducting administrative requirements such as clocking in/out, and to communicate with supervisors and other team members
• Load and unload packages in delivery vehicle
• Support the team in daily work requirements including participation in rescue calls when other team members need assistance with their routes

Benefits & Scheduling:

• $19.00 / hour(paid biweekly)
• 10-hour shifts are typical
• 2–3-day work week (20-30 hours)is typical
• Expect daytime shift with future potential to work 2nd shift if desired
• A minimum of 2 paid 15-minutebreaksduring your shift and 1 unpaid 30-minute meal break
