Job summary

Sheput Logistics LLC is seeking a part-time Driver Helper to assist delivery drivers in handling and delivering packages for a national technology company. The role is customer-focused, safety-driven, and requires reliable, flexible individuals ready to work on the road.

The position offers paid time off accruing from start, potential bonuses, and a daytime shift with the possibility of a second shift. Equipment such as a delivery vehicle and handheld devices are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must successfully pass a background check.
• Must successfully pass a 4-Panel Drug Screening.
• Must have good English speaking, reading, writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver packages on time.
• Follow local and state laws and company policies.
• Provide excellent customer service in stressful conditions.
• Lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs frequently; up to 70 lbs with team assistance; up to 300 lbs as part of a delivery team; navigate entry and exit of a van.
• Communicate effectively with the support team to ensure successful deliveries.

This is a Part time helper position with Sheput Logistics LLC the “Company”), assisting delivery drivers deliver packages for a national technology company!

We need reliable, independent, flexible, hard workers who pay attention to details, can quickly solve a wide range of situations, and win in a fast-paced environment!

Ideal candidates are enthusiastic, communicate effectively, and are ready to get the job done. Successful helpers enjoy being out on the road, put safety first and care deeply about customer expectations and satisfaction.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Successfully handle anddeliverpackagesontime


• Follow all local & state laws and Company policies


• Provideexcellent customer serviceand satisfaction despite stressful events / conditions


• Keep paceinphysically demandingjob; work in allweatherconditions and on various routes;liftpackages weighing up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis;maneuverpackages weighing up to 70 lbs., using material handling equipment, or up to 300 pounds as part of a delivery team; get in and out of a van repeatedly throughout the day at variable locations


• Communicate effectively with support team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure deliveries are completed


• Usesmart phone devicefor GPS Navigation, scanning packages, conducting administrative requirements such as clocking in/out, and to communicate with supervisors and other team members


• Load and unload packages in delivery vehicle


• Support the team in daily work requirements including participation in rescue calls when other team members need assistance with their routes

Benefits & Scheduling:

• $19.00 / hour(paid biweekly)


• 10-hour shifts are typical


• 2–3-day work week (20-30 hours)istypical


• Expect daytime shift with future potential to work 2nd shift if desired


• A minimum of 2 paid 15-minutebreaksduring your shift and 1 unpaid 30-minute meal break
