**Purpose:**

Assists Driver in delivering customer orders; helps load and unload products; or drives a pilot vehicle for oversize loads. May deliver using a company van or pickup truck under 10,000 GVW. Work is performed under supervision. Does NOT require a Commercial Motor Vehicle license.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**

1. Assists with loading and securing products onto or inside delivery vehicles using appropriate equipment.
2. Drives pilot vehicles for oversize loads, ensuring safety compliance.
3. Inspects and maintains delivery vehicles for safety and regulatory compliance.
4. Plans work to meet productivity goals.
5. Follows safety procedures to prevent injuries; attends safety meetings; may suggest safety improvements.

**Supervisory Responsibilities:**

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

**Minimum Requirements:**

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of related experience or equivalent education/training.
• Valid driver’s license.

• Knowledge of machine diagrams and escort regulations.

**Work Environment / Physical Activity:**

Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 200 pounds with assistance. Tasks may include climbing, lifting, pushing, or kneeling. Must be able to climb into cabs, operate controls, and have good visibility.
