City Thrift Daytona, FL #120 - Daytona is seeking a motivated Driver Helper for full-time, first shift work in Daytona Beach. You will provide excellent customer service to donors and customers, assist in maintaining donation boxes and sites, and support two-man routes including garage sale and fundraiser pickups.

This role requires a valid driver’s license, willingness to submit to a background check and drug screen, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid state driver’s license.
• Applicant must be 21 years or older.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service to donors and customers.
• Assist driver in building and maintaining donation box and station sites.
• Assist with two-man residential routes, garage sale pickups, estates sale pickups, and fundraiser drives.
• Assist with placement and removal of donation boxes and trailers.
• Help unload donations from trucks at route ends.
• Keep donation sites and routes clean and orderly per company protocols and standards.
• Work safely when loading and unloading trucks and trailers.
• Regularly work in heat, cold, and wet weather conditions.
• Prioritize safety and physical effort as required.
