Job summary

Augment in Sulphur, LA is hiring Driver Helpers to support routes, lift and load waste and recycling containers, and assist drivers on a physically active, outdoor role.

This full-time position offers weekly pay, a team-based environment, and opportunities for growth in environmental services. You must pass a background check and be able to lift up to 75 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must pass a background check and drug screening.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Able to work early morning shifts outdoors in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Ride along designated routes to assist the driver with pickups.
• Lift and load waste and recycling containers onto the truck.
• Operate the lifting mechanism (when trained) to empty bins.
• Walk and move quickly from stop to stop—this is a physically active role!
• Ensure all materials are collected safely and professionally.
• Help keep the vehicle clean and communicate route issues to the driver or supervisor.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Prior experience in general labor, warehouse, construction, or landscaping is a plus—but not required.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.

• Fast-moving team-based environment—safety and communication are key.
