Job summary

Augment is hiring Driver Helpers in Bridge City, LA for a physically active, full-time role on environmental services routes. You will assist the driver with pickups, lift and load containers, and help keep the truck clean while working outdoors in various weather conditions.

Ideal candidates are dependable, able to lift up to 75 lbs, and comfortable starting early shifts as part of a fast-paced team environment with weekly pay.

• Dependable with a strong work ethic and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Ride along designated routes to assist the driver with pickups.
• Lift and load waste and recycling containers onto the truck.
• Operate the lifting mechanism (when trained) to empty bins.
• Walk and move quickly between stops—this is a physically active role.
• Ensure materials are collected safely and professionally.
• Help keep the vehicle clean and report route issues to the driver.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Daily responsibilities include:

• Ride along designated routes to assist the driver with pickups.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

• Dependable and ready to work early morning shifts.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and move on your feet for extended periods.
• Enjoys working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Team player with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Prior experience in general labor, warehouse, construction, or landscaping is a plus—but not required.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.

The Work Environment:

• Outdoor work in neighborhoods, business parks, or industrial areas.
• Fast-moving team-based environment—safety and communication are key.
• PPE (personal protective equipment) is provided.
