Job summary

Benedettini Cabinets Lp in Rosenberg, TX is seeking a Delivery Helper to ride on the truck and assist the driver in delivering cabinets to customer homes. POSITION SUMMARY:

Rides on truck and assists driver in providing prompt, courteous and delivery of cabinets to customer homes.

REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following responsibilities are general duties that a particular employee in this position may or may not be required to perform. The actual duties required of this position will vary.

• Intercepts all phone/radio calls for the driver while the driver is driving.
• Climbs onto and off of the truck to load and unload cabinets.
• Lifts and carries cabinets to and from the truck to deliver to customer homes.
• Pushes/pulls cabinets with or without a dolly to and from the truck.
• Assists driver in safely backing up the truck by directing the driver from the ground.
• Assists in cleaning the cab of the truck and inside of the box truck daily.
• Courteously interacts with customers, dispatchers and supervisors.
• Assists in cleaning up the area around the delivery of cabinets, when necessary.
• Follows all safety policies and procedures.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

TYPICAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

The following physical activities or abilities are commonly, but not always, associated with the performance of this position. The actual requirements of this position will vary.

• Lift, carry and push/pull at least 75 pounds repeatedly throughout the workday.
• Climb into and out of truck repeatedly throughout the workday.

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION:

Preferred:

• Equivalent of high school diploma or G.E.D certification
• One year of working in extreme weather conditions.
