Job summary

Benedettini Cabinetry in Rosenberg, TX is seeking a delivery helper to assist the driver in delivering cabinets to customer homes. You will ride on the truck and help load and unload cabinets, ensuring prompt and courteous service.

The role requires lifting at least 75 pounds, frequent climbing, and safe operation with dolly and gear. You will interact with customers, dispatchers and supervisors, follow safety rules, and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Equivalent of high school diploma or GED certification.
• One year of working in extreme weather conditions.
• Customer service oriented and dependable.
• Able to lift and carry heavy cabinets and operate equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Intercepts all phone/radio calls for the driver while the driver is driving.
• Loads onto and off of the truck to load and unload cabinets.
• Lifts and carries cabinets to and from the truck to deliver to customer homes.
• Pushes/pulls cabinets with or without a dolly to and from the truck.
• Assists driver in safely backing up the truck by directing the driver from the ground.
• Assists in cleaning the cab of the truck and inside of the box truck daily.
• Courteously interacts with customers, dispatchers and supervisors.
• Assists in cleaning up the area around the delivery of cabinets, when necessary.
• Follows all safety policies and procedures.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION:
