Job summary

UPS is seeking a physically active Seasonal Driver Helper to join a delivery team in Pittsburgh. You will spend the day outdoors, interact with customers, and help ensure packages are delivered safely and on time.

Shifts vary, including mornings and days, with Monday–Saturday availability and potential peak periods. You will not drive the brown truck; you meet the driver at a nearby pickup location and assist with deliveries.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift, lower, and carry packages weighing up to 70 lbs.
• Sturdy work boots or slip-resistant shoes for outdoor work.
• Weather-appropriate attire for outdoor work.
• Flexibility with day-to-day scheduling; Saturdays/holidays may be required.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Help deliver packages by supporting the driver and assisting with unloading and handling.
• Meet the driver at a pickup location and assist with deliveries to homes and businesses.
• Do not drive the delivery truck; work alongside the driver during routes.

Ride Along with a Driver as a Seasonal Driver Helper

Looking for a physically active seasonal opportunity in your community? As a Driver Helper, you'll team up with a UPS package delivery driver to help deliver packages to homes and businesses. You'll spend your day outdoors, interacting with customers, and helping ensure packages are delivered safely and on time.

This is a seasonal position that requires your flexibility. Work opportunities are offered each morning based on operational needs and your availability. Schedules vary and can include Monday through Saturday, holidays, and peak delivery periods.

When assigned work, you'll meet your driver at a designated pick‑up location (meet point), often near your home or within your community. Helpers do not drive the brown truck.

Please Note: This is a seasonal position; schedules vary from day to day.

What You’ll Need
