Job summary

UPS is seeking a physically active seasonal Driver Helper to assist UPS delivery drivers with package handoff, outdoor routes, and customer interactions in the local community.

You'll meet the driver at a designated pickup point, work outdoors, and help ensure packages are delivered safely and on time. No prior experience is required; excellent weekly pay and opportunities to grow within UPS are highlighted.

Qualifications

• Must be physically able to lift, lower, carry packages up to 70 lbs.
• Outdoor work in various weather conditions.
• Wear weather-appropriate attire for outdoor duties.
• Must be flexible with day-to-day scheduling based on business needs.
• Saturdays and holidays work may be required depending on business needs.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assist the driver with unloading and delivering packages to homes and businesses.
• Interact with customers and provide courteous service during deliveries.
• Meet the driver at a designated pick-up location and support daily routes.
• Help ensure packages are delivered safely and on time and in proper order.

Ride Along with a Driver as a Seasonal Driver Helper

Looking for a physically active seasonal opportunity in your community? As a Driver Helper, you'll team up with a UPS package delivery driver to help deliver packages to homes and businesses. You'll spend your day outdoors, interacting with customers, and helping ensure packages are delivered safely and on time.

This is a seasonal position that requires your flexibility. Work opportunities are offered each morning based on operational needs and your availability. Schedules vary and can include Monday through Saturday, holidays, and peak delivery periods.

When assigned work, you'll meet your driver at a designated pick‑up location (meet point), often near your home or within your community. Helpers do not drive the brown truck.

Please Note: This is a seasonal position; schedules vary from day to day.

What You’ll Need

• Ability to lift, lower, and carry packages weighing up to 70 lbs.
• Sturdy work boots or slip‑resistant shoes suitable for outdoor work
• Weather‑appropriate attire for outdoor work
• Flexibility with day‑to‑day scheduling, based on business needs and your availability
• Saturdays and holiday work required – depending on business needs
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
