Job summary

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a Driver Helper for our Newark, New Jersey operation. This role involves loading and unloading gas cylinders at customer sites, handling cylinders with manual equipment, and supporting paperwork for shipments on the 1st shift.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload gas cylinders and/or other products onto and off route trucks at customer sites.
• Roll cylinders and operate manual equipment for movement of cylinders.
• Sort empty cylinders by type.
• Verify loaded items against customer orders and assist with loading accuracy.
• Assist with accompanying paperwork for shipments.
• Complete routine and non-routine daily and weekly assignments.

What you will enjoy doing*

• You will load and unload gas cylinders and/or other products onto and off route trucks at customer sites
• Rolls cylinders and operates various manual equipment for the movement of cylinders
• You will sortempty cylinders by type
• Checks for cylinder quantities, styles, and product, and/or assist with inventory on truck
• You will review customer orders, and verifies/assist loaded items onto the trucks for delivery are current
• Performs basic cylinder maintenance such as painting cylinders, labeling cylinders, and cleaning of work area
• You will assist with accompanying paperwork for shipments
• Completes both routine and non-routine daily and weekly assignments

Pay Range: $24.88-$36.49
