Job summary

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. in Hillside, IL is seeking a loader/unloader to efficiently handle gas cylinders and related products. The role requires operating a forklift, loading routes, and maintaining accurate inventory through sorting and inspection.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and 1+ year of manufacturing experience, a mechanical background, and strong leadership, problem solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload gas cylinders and related products onto and from route trucks and trailers using a forklift.
• Sort empty cylinders by type and verify quantities, styles and product specs for inventory accuracy.
• Review customer orders, pull items from inventory and load products onto trucks for delivery.
• Perform basic cylinder maintenance including painting, labeling and cleaning the work area.
• Assist with paperwork accompanying shipments and daily/weekly tasks as directed.

What you will enjoy doing*

• Thisrole requires you to load and unload gas cylinders and related products ontoand from route trucks and trailers; move cylinders by rolling and byoperating a forklift
• You will sort empty cylinders by type and check cylinder quantities, styles,and product specifications to support accurate inventory management
• You will review customer orders, pull required items from inventory, andload products onto trucks for delivery
• Perform basic cylindermaintenance, including painting, labeling, and cleaning the work area
• Assist with paperwork accompanying shipments
• This role includes completing both routine and non-routine daily and weeklyassignments as directed

Pay rate: $32.82 hourly
