Job summary

Core-Mark International in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Driver Helper to support delivery drivers, ensuring products reach customers safely and on time while representing the company professionally.

You will accompany drivers on routes, assist with loading/unloading, communicate with customers and vendors, and complete required documentation. This full-time role offers competitive pay, benefits starting Day 1, and growth opportunities in America's food distribution network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 6+ months in warehouse environment with interfacing with customers within food service industry.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Ride with and assist drivers in the tractor trailer, tandem trailer and/or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes for the purpose of delivering and/or unloading various products in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
• Communicate and interact with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner.
• Function as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.
• Assist the driver in the safe and accurate delivery of products to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
• Load and unload truck and/or company vehicles.
• Place products in areas identified by customers.
• Complete required documentation in a timely manner.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Position Purpose

Food and food service delivery Drivers fulfill a critical role in the country’s food supply chain. Our delivery drivers not only make sure the customers’ products arrive at their destination at the arranged times and in good condition, but they are the face of our company – building lasting relationships with our customers! As a Driver Helper, you will assist the Driver in every aspect of the product delivery to our customers.

Primary Responsibilities

Position Details

• Pay: $18.50
• Schedule: Monday - Friday
• Start time between 3:00 AM - 6:00 AM
