Job summary

Core-Mark International in Indiana is hiring a Driver, Helper Non Formula to support the Driver in delivering products to customers on time, and to assist with loading, unloading and placement of goods as directed. You will be the face of the company during intrastate and interstate routes, ensuring safe, timely and accurate deliveries.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, a clean MVR for the past 3 years, and the ability to pass a post‑offer drug test and background check.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent required.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years required.
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Driver in the safe and accurate delivery of products to customers on time.
• Load and unload trucks and company vehicles.
• Place products in areas identified by customers.
• Complete required documentation promptly.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Purpose

Food and food service delivery Drivers fulfill a critical role in the country’s food supply chain. Our delivery drivers not only make sure the customers’ products arrive at their destination at the arranged times and in good condition, but they are the face of our company – building lasting relationships with our customers! As a Driver, Helper Non Formula, you will assist the Driver in every aspect of the product delivery to our customers.

The Driver, Helper Non Formula rides with and assist Drivers in the tractor trailer, tandem trailer and/or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes for the purpose of delivering and/or unloading various products in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.
