Job summary

Maersk is hiring a Driver's Helper in Medley, FL to support the driver with loading, unloading, and route navigation. You will assist with freight handling, ensure accurate route scans, and help deliver to customer locations.

The role requires standing for long periods, ability to lift up to 75 lbs, and reliable scheduling Monday–Friday 6:00am–3:00pm. Medical/dental/vision benefits and 401k are provided.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Ability to read a map and knowledge of local area.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs unassisted.
• Must possess good customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload the truck for the daily route.
• Scan the daily route onto the truck.
• Assist the driver with navigating to deliveries.
• Assist with carrying freight to business or residence destinations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position requires employees to frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, use hands, reach, bend, and lift objects above their heads. Employees must be able to regularly lift/move up to 50 pounds and use pallet jacks and forklifts.
