Job summary

Ben E. Keith Company seeks a Driver Helper to assist the driver in unloading and delivering products along the route in Fort Worth, Texas.

You will help with multi-stop deliveries while ensuring proper placement of items at each stop and upholding safety standards. This role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and dependable attendance; must be 18+, have a high school diploma or GED, and be prepared to work in varying weather.

Position Summary and Responsibilities

The Driver Helper position will assist the driver in the unloading and delivery of products on the route.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Education/GED required.

Physical Requirements

• Able to perform repetitive lifting of over 50 lbs., occasional lifting over 100 lbs.
• Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions.
• Must be able to walk extensively.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time, bend at the waist, stoop, and squat to lift heavy items in a proper manner.
• Must have normal use of shoulders, arms, wrist, hands, feet and legs.
• Must be able to read numbers and product descriptions.

Driver safety is important to Ben E. Keith. We use dash cameras which leverage artificial intelligence to recognize safe driving, capture safety events and improve driver safety performance. The videos are also used to exonerate drivers in accidents. All drivers sign a driver consent form upon hire to confirm their understanding.
