Job summary

Augment is hiring Driver Helpers in Hernando, FL. This full-time, outdoor role supports drivers on waste and recycling routes. You’ll lift and load containers, operate lifting mechanisms when trained, and move quickly between stops in a physically active job.

Starting at $15.00 per hour, you’ll enjoy weekly pay, a team environment, and opportunities to grow within environmental services. PPE is provided and safety is our top priority.

Qualifications

• Must pass background check.
• Drug screening will be required.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Early morning shifts and dependable work ethic required.

Responsibilities

• Ride along designated routes to assist the driver with pickups.
• Lift and load waste and recycling containers onto the truck.
• Operate the lifting mechanism (when trained) to empty bins.
• Walk and move quickly from stop to stop—this is a physically active role!
• Ensure all materials are collected safely and professionally.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Team player with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Prior experience in general labor, warehouse, construction, or landscaping is a plus—but not required.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.
