Job summary

UPS is seeking a Driver Helper for a seasonal role in your community. You will work with a UPS driver to help deliver packages to homes and businesses, spending your day outdoors and interacting with customers to ensure timely delivery.

Shifts are flexible and may include mornings, Saturdays, and holidays. No prior experience is necessary, and this is a chance to gain experience with an industry‑leading company while staying active and part of your local area.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and stay active outdoors.
• Weather-appropriate attire and sturdy footwear.
• Flexibility with day-to-day scheduling, including weekends and holidays.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assist the driver with unloaded and delivered packages at homes and businesses.
• Meet the driver at a designated pick-up point and work together to complete routes.
• Communicate with customers and help ensure on-time, safe deliveries.

Ride Along with a Driver as a Seasonal Driver Helper

Looking for a physically active seasonal opportunity in your community? As a Driver Helper, you'll team up with a UPS package delivery driver to help deliver packages to homes and businesses. You'll spend your day outdoors, interacting with customers, and helping ensure packages are delivered safely and on time.

This is a seasonal position that requires your flexibility. Work opportunities are offered each morning based on operational needs and your availability. Schedules vary and can include Monday through Saturday, holidays, and peak delivery periods.

When assigned work, you'll meet your driver at a designated pick‑up location (meet point), often near your home or within your community. Helpers do not drive the brown truck.

Please Note: This is a seasonal position; schedules vary from day to day.

What You’ll Need

• Ability to lift, lower, and carry packages weighing up to 70 lbs.
• Sturdy work boots or slip‑resistant shoes suitable for outdoor work
• Weather‑appropriate attire for outdoor work
• Flexibility with day‑to‑day scheduling, based on business needs and your availability
• Saturdays and holiday work required – depending on business needs
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
