Job summary

Fresno Senior Living is seeking a Driver to join our team. You will map routes, pick up clients on schedule, and communicate changes based on traffic and weather conditions. Maintain clean, safe vehicles and support timely car service and detailing as needed.

The role requires a valid Class A or B license, a clean driving record, and strong interpersonal skills. Typical hours are Monday through Friday, with potential adjustments for appointments.

Job description

We're looking for a Driver to join our team!

Responsibilities:

• Map out driving routes ahead of time to determine the most expedient trip.
• Pick up clients from the place and at the time they’ve requested.
• Listen to traffic and weather reports to stay up-to-date on road conditions.
• Adjust the route to avoid heavy traffic or road constructions, as needed.
• Ensure the car seats are clean and comfortable for all riders.
• Schedule regular car service appointments and report any issues.
• Book car wash and detailing services to maintain interior and exterior cleanliness of the car.

Skills:

• Proven experience as a Driver
• Must have a valid Class A or B driver’s license
• A clean driving record
• Minimum visual acuity of 20/50 (or corrected to 20/50)
• Familiarity with GPS devices
• Knowledge of area roads and neighborhoods
• A polite and professional disposition
• Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g. at rush hour)
• A high school diploma

Work Schedule:

• Monday - Friday
• 8:00am - 4:00pm
• May need to come in earlier or stay later as needed for appointments.
