Job summary

UW Health in Madison, WI seeks a Driver to support our operations by delivering materials and medical records across locations. You will load and unload items, maintain vehicle safety, and provide courteous service to internal and external customers.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and relevant delivery experience. The role is full-time, on-site, with occasional schedule flexibility to meet department needs.

Work Schedule:
This is a full-time, 100% FTE position. Scheduled hours are Monday through Friday, 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM, with some flexibility required. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We’re seeking a Driver to:

• Operate a UW Health fleet vehicle to pick up and deliver a variety of materials, including supplies, medical equipment, labs, and medical records.
• Load and unload items for delivery.
• Work with both internal and external customers and demonstrate great customer service skills.
• Perform vehicle safety inspections and monitor the vehicle’s oil and fuel levels.
• Follow proper procedures and safety precautions while operating a motor vehicle.

Licenses & Certifications

• Must possess a current, valid driver’s license issued by the individual’s state of residence. Must be at least 21 years old or have a minimum of three (3) years of driving experience to operate a Personal Vehicle, Patient/Visitor Vehicle, or standard UW Health Fleet Vehicle (Required).
