Job summary

Dot Transportation, Inc., a subsidiary of Dot Foods, Inc., is seeking a Driver Supervisor in Burley, ID to oversee driver assignments, coordinate product movements, and ensure efficient use of the fleet and personnel.

You will manage inbound/outbound loads, support transfers between centers, and contribute to payroll and fleet performance reporting, while promoting safety and continuous improvement through lean practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Dot experience.
• Knowledge of DOT, Federal and State regulations for drivers and equipment.
• Working knowledge of Federal Hours Of Service regulations.
• Ability to work in a constantly changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to guaranteed inbound product movements, such as inbound vendor purchase orders for both Dot Foods and internal company transfers.
• Manage driver assignment for all loads, inbound and outbound.
• Assist in the coordination of product transfer to other distribution centers.
• Perform specific duties in measuring and reporting driver payroll, service levels, fleet performance, etc.
• Leads continuous improvement efforts while applying lean thinking and tools to eliminate waste.
