Job summary

Fastenal Co. in Modesto, CA is seeking a full-time CDL Driver to support interstate routes in a DOT-compliant role. The position requires HazMat endorsement or ability to obtain one, strict driving-record standards, and adherence to Hours-of-Service rules.

You will lift up to 60 lbs and maneuver up to 150 lbs, and must pass DOT drug/alcohol screening, a road test, and background checks. The base pay ranges from $48,000 to $65,000 per year, with eligibility for a bonus/commission.

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:

• 18 years of age or over, due to the nature of work
• Possess a current Haz Mat endorsement OR have the ability to obtain one (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)
• Meet Fastenal driving record requirements
• Demonstrate strong working knowledge of the DOT regulations in regards to a CDL Driver
• Maintain DOT regulated Drivers Hours-of-Service
• Willingness to drive interstate routes across state lines
• Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork
• Lift up to 60 lbs. and maneuver up to 150lbs.
• Successfully complete the required DOT drug and alcohol screens, road test, employment verification and background check

PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• Prior driving work experience

COMPENSATION

The base pay range for this position is $48,000 - 65,000. In addition to base pay, this position is also eligible for a bonus and/or commission.
