Juniper Landscaping, Inc. is seeking a driver/crew member for our landscape maintenance teams in Florida. Safely drive a 24’ truck with a trailer and perform on-site landscape tasks as part of the crew.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and pass MVR check.
• Experience driving a truck and trailer.
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Able to work outdoors for long periods in extreme temperatures.
• Physically able to bend, stoop, twist repeatedly and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive a company 24’ truck with trailer.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections.
• Work as part of the landscape maintenance crew on job sites.
• Mow, edge, blow, prune, plant, weed pull, mulch and general landscape tasks.
• Move soil, equipment, and materials.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

This position will be a dual driver/crew member position responsible for driving a Juniper truck & trailer and working alongside the landscape maintenance crew at each job site.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Safely driving a company work truck with a 24’ trailer
• Performing daily vehicle inspections
• Working as a member of the landscape maintenance crew and completing jobsite tasks including mowing, edging, blowing, pruning, planting, weed pulling, applying mulch, and general landscape maintenance duties
• Using hand tools, power tools, and/or equipment to perform landscape duties
• Moving soil, equipment, and materials
• Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Skills:

• Valid Driver’s License and ability to clear a Motor Vehicle Record check required
• Experience safely driving a truck & trailer
• Landscaping experience preferred
• Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
• Must be able and willing to work for long periods of time outside (in extreme temperatures and direct sunlight)
• Must be able and willing to bend, stoop, and twist repeatedly throughout the day
• Must be able to use hand tools and power equipment
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
