Here’s what you’d do:

The Driver Crew Leader executes site-level tasks on BrightView’s client sites. This position directs the work of 2-5 other employees and ensures assigned tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to the quality standards set by BrightView and its clients. The Driver Crew Leader oversees crews working in various service lines including basic maintenance, landscape installation, and supportive services like irrigation, seasonal color management, and chemical applications.

You’d be responsible for:

1. Prepare Landscape Trucks for the day including:
   1. Load gas cans, mowers, and other equipment onto trucks/trailers
   2. Secure all equipment onto trucks/trailers
   3. Safely operate vehicle in accordance with all traffic laws.
2. Maintain a schedule and ensure service expectations are met
3. Surface customer problems or concerns and report back to Production Manager
4. Assist in resolving issues with customer service when needed
5. Ensure work is performed safely and in accordance with company policies
6. Communicate regularly with Production Manager to ensure client needs and expectations are met or exceeded
7. Deliver services as specified on client sites
8. Work to identify more efficient ways to perform work
9. Coordinate service execution with Production Manager
10. Oversee day-to-day site operations and delegate work to crew team members
11. Provide Production Manager feedback on crew members
12. Work with Production Manager to develop and train crew members
13. Ensure equipment preventative maintenance is performed as needed and equipment is in good working order
14. Participate in branch meetings as directed

Accurately capture and turn in crew time logs

Log equipment usage and maintenance cycles

Perform maintenance on equipment:

• Unload equipment from BrightView trucks/trailers
• Wash equipment and trucks
• Change equipment blades and oil
• Clean air filters
• Grease machines
• Conduct EDVIR on assigned vehicles.

You might be a good fit if you have:

• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to operate various vehicles, with or without trailers.
• BrightView Equipment certifications
• Experience in a landscape-related field
• Demonstrated leadership among the team and with peers
