Job summary

First Student in the New York area is seeking a Specialist Driver Compliance to uphold confidentiality and promote a safe environment across locations. You will manage and protect compliance data, ensuring accuracy and timely entry into our systems.

The role requires leadership, training and coaching of staff on the Driver Compliance program, with strong knowledge of federal/state requirements. It offers growth opportunities within a large national network and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• CDL required; 3+ years business/operations experience preferred.
• Solid understanding of Driver Compliance Program.
• Strong knowledge of Federal/State/Provincial requirements for Commercial Drivers.
• Ability to lead, train and coach location staff in Driver Compliance Program.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint/Outlook/Word/Excel).

Responsibilities

• Maintain confidentiality and promote safe environments, collaborating with contacts.
• Upload and maintain compliance data for assigned locations.
• Review documents for accuracy before entry into the system.
• Communicate document issues to locations and provide resolution support.
• Train location staff on compliance processes and document requirements.
• Troubleshoot compliance program platform with location challenges.
• Escalate issues to Driver Compliance Supervisor as needed.
• Support location on-site activities as assigned.
• Adapt to additional duties as required.
