Job summary

McLane is hiring a Class B Driver to transport food staples and specialty products to various customer locations in the Kansas area. You will operate a straight truck, unload goods, and assist with warehouse tasks as needed.

The role emphasizes safety and reliable delivery to maintain strong client relationships. Qualified candidates are 21 or older with a valid CDL-B, able to lift up to 75 pounds, and proficient in reading and writing English.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Class B CDL and be able to read, write, and understand English.
• Able to lift and move pallets up to 75 pounds.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Operate a straight truck or box truck to convey products to customer sites.
• Unload and place products in designated food-safe storage areas.
• Perform warehouse duties when not delivering.
• Work safely to prevent injuries and protect products.
• Other duties as assigned.

The Class B Driver drives a straight truck, box truck, or other appropriate vehicle to transport food staples and specialty products to various customer locations.

• Pay rate: $26.00 per hour.

What You'll Do As a Class B Driver

• Operate a straight truck, box truck, or other appropriate vehicle to convey products to customer sites.
• Unload and place all products in customer-designated food-safe storage areas.
• Perform warehouse-related duties when not making deliveries.
• Work safely to prevent injury to people and damage to products.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications You'll Bring As a Class B Driver Teammate

• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid Class B commercial driver's license (CDL-B).
• Lift and move product and pallets which may weigh up to 75 pounds.
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
