Job Responsibilities

• Operate tractor/trailer equipment safely and efficiently according to DOT standards and company policies.
• Transport bakery products to customer locations and other sites, adhering to delivery schedules.
• Handle products on racks and baskets, maintaining order, sanitation, and food safety standards.
• Verify load counts, record load information, and complete required safety inspections and logs.
• Deliver bakery products, unload trucks, and ensure loads are secure.
• Complete daily trip reports and report product overages or shortages.
• Perform safety checks on vehicles before each run and maintain cleanliness of trucks/trailers.
• Maintain a valid CDL Class A license, pass annual DOT physicals, and keep driving records up to date.
• Promote good customer relations and drive safely to represent the company positively.
• Refuel vehicles, record mileage and fuel usage, and wear company uniforms.
• Attend safety meetings and training sessions, and participate in required training programs.
• Perform assigned tasks during downtime and report equipment or safety issues.
• Maintain a clean work area and assist team members as needed.
