Position Description

We have an opening for a SOLO Class A CDL Truck Driver at Ryder in Bradenton, FL.

Pay and Schedule

• Weekly pay: $1350 or more
• Paid CPM: $0.52, averaging 1000-1500 miles weekly
• Stops: $29.50 - $39.50, averaging 20 stops weekly
• Hours: approximately 55 hours per week
• Start time: between 2:00 AM and 6:00 AM
• Schedule: Monday to Friday

Equipment and Route Details

• Trucks are three years or newer
• Route: Local, home daily
• Trailer: Dry Van, 53’
• Tractor: Day Cab Automatic
• Equipment: Manual Pallet Jack
• Freight: Heavy Touch - Retail Products

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years old
• Pass Ryder drug test, background, and motor vehicle checks
• Pass DOT physical and Ryder road test
• Possess appropriate CDL and endorsements
• Class A experience: 9 months in past 3 years, or 2 years in last 5 years, or 5 years in last 10 years

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and safety standards
• Maintain accurate logs and records
• Load/unload freight or assist as required
• Perform other duties as assigned
