Position Summary

The Company provides industrial waste services to its customers. The Industrial HazMat Driver operates a tractor-trailer and other truck equipment to haul industrial waste to various disposal or recycling facilities. The driver ensures efficient response times and high-quality customer service.

Principle Responsibilities

1. Transport hazardous and non-hazardous wastes in compliance with DOT guidelines.
2. Operate a variety of vehicles including vans, straight trucks, tankers, vacuum tankers, and roll-offs.
3. Perform safety inspections and maintain DOT logs and records.
4. Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of all equipment.
5. Maintain communication with dispatch for pickups and deliveries.
6. Complete work tickets and maintain inventory of tools and equipment.
7. Report safety issues and incidents to management.
8. Operate jobs in the most efficient and cost-effective manner.
9. Use Personal Protective Equipment as required.
10. Perform other duties as assigned, possibly up to 30% OTR.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of equipment used for hauling industrial/hazardous waste.

Minimum Qualifications

• Class A CDL with tanker and hazmat endorsements.
• At least 1 year of commercial driving experience.
