Job summary

Clean Harbors in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Class B CDL / Equipment Operator to operate a variety of heavy and light-duty trucks at customer sites, including vacuum trucks and roll-offs. The role includes driving and non-driving duties on and off-site for hazardous waste cleanup.

Typically Monday through Friday with a 6 am start, 8–10+ hour days, and overtime after 40 hours. Willingness to travel for emergency response; paid two-week academy training out of state is provided.

Qualifications

• Must have Class B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements preferred, no automatic restriction.
• Experience operating heavy and light trucks including vacuum trucks and roll-offs.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy and light trucks at customer sites and on job sites.
• Perform driving and non-driving duties related to hazardous waste cleanup.
• Respond to emergency calls and assist on project work, including travel when needed.

Clean Harbors in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Class B CDL / Equipment Operator to operate a variety of heavy and light duty trucks/work equipment at our customer sites; some of the vehicles operated include vacuum trucks, Cuscos, guzzlers, and roll offs. This role is responsible for performing driving and non-driving duties on and off customer sites associated with hazardous waste clean-up.

• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements preferred, no automatic restriction
• Typically Monday through Friday schedule, average start time 6 am
• Average an 8-10+ hour day. Overtime after 40 hrs.
• Must be available for emergency response/project work that could take you out of town up to 2 weeks at a time, hotel and per diem provided
• Travel / On Call / Emergency response

Note this position requires new hires to attend our two-week Academy training out of state. Expenses are covered by the company, and it is paid training.
