Job summary

Air Comfort, Inc. is seeking a Driver Class A CDL to join a dedicated team in Michigan. This full-time, hourly role transports steel products and materials across the state, ensuring timely, safe deliveries and compliance with DOT regulations.

You will operate 8-axle trucks, secure coils and sheets, and maintain accurate delivery records. Strong emphasis on safety, reliability, and professional conduct throughout daily operations.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Experience operating 8-axle trucks.
• Proficient in strapping and chaining loads; steel hauling experience is a plus.
• Current DOT medical card.
• No more than 4 points currently on MVR.
• No DUI, OUI, or reckless driving convictions within the past 5 years
• No careless driving convictions within the past 3 years

Responsibilities

• Safely operate 8-axle trucks to deliver steel products to customers within Michigan.
• Transfer materials from vendors and processors throughout the state.
• Secure steel coils and sheets using proper strapping and chaining techniques.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and comply with all DOT regulations.
• Communicate effectively with the Production Control Manager and other team members
