Job Description

Candidates will be responsible for delivering building materials using a company vehicle and must be capable of heavy lifting. Essential qualifications include the following:

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Assist yard personnel in pulling and staging inter-company orders, loading trucks, and receiving materials.
• Operate yard equipment, including forklifts, safely and efficiently.
• Expedite the loading and unloading of customer and company vehicles.
• Receive and carry out customer order instructions, including maps and materials, according to the delivery sequence.
• Ensure timely and efficient delivery to customers and jobsites.
• Complete pre-jobsite assessments prior to unloading company trucks at jobsites.
• Deliver materials to jobsites and customers safely and efficiently, following established safety guidelines.

Job Requirements

• Must have a valid CDL driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Valid CDL permit with a clean driving record and interest in company-sponsored training.
• Career goals of becoming a CDL driver, with a valid driver’s license and ability to complete the company-sponsored training program while working as a material handler.
