Job Description

Candidates will be responsible for delivering building materials using a company vehicle and must be capable of heavy lifting. Essential qualifications include:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Assist yard personnel in pulling and staging inter-company orders, loading trucks, and receiving materials.
2. Operate yard equipment, including forklifts, safely and efficiently.
3. Expedite the loading and unloading of customer and company vehicles.
4. Receive and follow customer order instructions, including maps and materials, according to the delivery sequence.
5. Ensure timely and efficient delivery to customers and job sites.
6. Complete pre-jobsite assessments prior to unloading at jobsites.
7. Deliver materials to jobsites and customers safely and efficiently, following established safety guidelines.

Job Requirements

• Must have a valid CDL driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Valid CDL permit with a clean driving record and interest in company-sponsored training.
• Career goals of becoming a CDL driver, with a valid driver's license and the ability to complete company-sponsored training while working as a material handler.
