Job summary

Industrial Metal Supply Co. is seeking a driver for local routes. You will be home every night with weekends off, and you will play a key role in delivering metal products to customers.

Flatbed or stake-bed experience is a plus, and you will represent IMS with a professional, safety‑minded approach. We offer a World‑Class Benefits program, PTO, medical, dental, vision, a 401(k) with company match, and programs through our HR team.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Minimum 6 months of experience as a truck driver.
• Valid Class A license.
• Manual driving experience.
• Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations.
• No recent moving or driving violations.
• Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Deliver routes with home daily and weekends off.
• Safely strap down loads on flatbed.
• Represent IMS in a courteous, professional manner.
• Communicate clearly and follow company policies.
• Maintain safety and quality control for efficient service.

Job description

Our Drivers have Local Routes, home every night and Weekends Off! They are integral to the success of our business because they are the last stop in our customer experience. We are currently looking for talented, hard-working individuals to join our driver team.

• Route deliveries with regular shifts allowing our drivers to be home with family each day.

• Flatbed or Stake-bed experience a plus.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ability to strap down and maintain quality control and to organize workload for maximum effectiveness on a flatbed
• Ability to represent the company in a customer-friendly and positive manner
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
• Strong detail orientation and understanding of safe work processes and procedures
• Ability to be an effective team member

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years and older
• At least 6 months of experience as a truck driver
• Valid Class A License
• Manual Driving Experience
