US Foods in Albuquerque is seeking a detail-oriented team member to verify driver-returned products and invoices, ensuring correct accounting codes and inventory accuracy. You will assist with reconciliation, aisle mapping, and learning other inventory tasks, reporting to the Transportation and Warehouse teams.

The role emphasizes accurate data entry, adherence to temperature guidelines, and collaboration with drivers to improve process efficiency. Overtime eligibility applies.

Responsibilities

• Verify returned product for accurate reason codes to ensure accounting reports reflect data.
• Ensure returned product is within temperature guidelines to maintain quality.
• Process documents (paper and digital) for returns and adjustments to ensure inventory and invoice accuracy.
• Inspect returned product for disposition and proper coding (saleable, damaged, etc.).
• Execute end-of-day processes and address discrepancies through proper research.
• Return saleable product to pick slots where allowed by local rules.
• Collaborate with drivers and transportation supervisors to address issues and training needs.

Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law. The expected base rate for this role is between $18.00 and $21.00 per hour.

Main Ingredients of the Job

• Verify returned product for accurate reason codes (mispicks, driver shorts, refusals) to ensure accounting reports reflect accurate data.
• Verify returned product is within temperature guidelines to maintain product integrity
• Process all documents (paper and digital) associated with returns and adjustments to customer orders to ensure inventory accuracy and customer invoice accuracy
• Inspect all product returned for appropriate disposition (saleable, damage/recuperation, damage/out of code dumps, etc.) and ensure proper coding is applied.
• Execute end of day processes and reports, ensuring all discrepancies are researched and addressed.
• Return saleable product to pick slot (where allowed; see local CBA)
• Work with drivers and transportation supervisors to address any issues and address training/retraining needs and process improvement opportunities.
• The job duties will include Reclamation as well. With support to assist with inventory. This can include Aisle Mapping, checking of product, and learning other tasks with Inventory.

Internal: Transportation Manager, Day Warehouse Manager,

External: none.

Qualifications

Education/Training: High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Related Experience: A minimum of three years of experience with warehouse & delivery procedures required.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Must be able to communicate clearly both in writing and verbally, strong math skills, excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, basic computer skills. Must be able to work on complex tasks and prioritize workload. Strong teamwork skills and the ability to be a resource to others in the division.

Physical Requirements: Frequent, sitting, standing and walking, occasional lifting of 20 lb weights. Must be able to operate a computer and perform filing.
