Job summary

Fortune Fish & Gourmet is seeking a Driver Check-In Warehouse Associate to greet inbound drivers, verify return paperwork, and ensure accurate receiving and inventory. You will document returns and support communications with Accounting, Inventory, and Warehouse teams.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist inbound drivers in a professional and timely manner.
• Verify Return Sheets are completed correctly and invoices.
• Receiving and inventory accuracy.
• Report shortages, overages, damages, substitutions, and discrepancies immediately.
• Create and maintain return records and support documentation.
• Assist Inventory Control with investigations regarding receiving variances.
• Documentation and recordkeeping; maintain organized files.
• Ensure all paperwork is processed accurately and submitted on time.
• Communication and coordination with Accounting, Inventory and Warehouse teams.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, HACCP, GMP and company quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Assist with inventory counts as needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Education – High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience – One to two years of related experience in food production.
• Work ethic – A sense of urgency in meeting critical and time-sensitive deadlines.
• Accuracy – The ability to lift 50/pounds regularly.
• Language – Basic English and Spanish speaking and written proficiency.
• Mathematical – Ability to perform basic arithmetic tasks – adding, subtracting, dividing, and multiplying.
• Environmental: Willingness to work in a cold climate of 0-35 degrees
• A combination of the above will also be considered.

Physical & Mental Demands

• Stooping: Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist. This factor is important if it occurs to a considerable degree and requires full motion of the lower extremities.
• Kneeling: Bending legs at knee to come to a rest on knee or knees.

Work Schedule & Availability

• Regular scheduled shift: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
• Schedule may vary based on operational and business needs.
• *Saturday availability is mandatory.
