Job summary

Fortune Fish & Gourmet is seeking a Driver Check-In Warehouse Associate to greet inbound drivers, verify return paperwork, and ensure accurate receiving and inventory. You will document returns and support communications with Accounting, Inventory, and Warehouse teams.

The role requires 1–2 years in food production, ability to lift 50 pounds, and bilingual English/Spanish proficiency. The position is on-site in a cold environment, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and safety.

Qualifications

• Education – High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience – One to two years in food production.
• Urgency and reliability in meeting deadlines.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.
• Basic English and Spanish proficiency (written and spoken).
• Basic math skills.
• Willingness to work in a cold climate (0–35 degrees).
• Combination of factors will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist inbound drivers in a professional and timely manner.
• Verify Return Sheets are completed correctly and invoices.
• Receiving and inventory accuracy.
• Report shortages, overages, damages, substitutions, and discrepancies immediately.
• Create and maintain return records and support documentation.
• Assist Inventory Control with investigations regarding receiving variances.
• Documentation and recordkeeping; maintain organized files.
• Ensure all paperwork is processed accurately and submitted on time.
• Communication and coordination with Accounting, Inventory and Warehouse teams.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, HACCP, GMP and company quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Assist with inventory counts as needed.
