SALARY RANGE: $19.00 - $21.00

Illini FS is headquartered in Urbana, Illinois, with branches in five eastern Illinois counties. The cooperative has about 200 employees and approximately 6,000 customers. It operates in agronomy, energy, tires, and retail. Illini FS is part of the GROWMARK System, serving over 100,000 customers across North America and Ontario, Canada.

PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

Operates and maintains trucks, trailers, and forklifts for delivery and pickup of agronomy and energy products, following scheduled routes to support profitable business growth.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

1. Operate and maintain assigned vehicles and equipment according to safety standards and proper procedures.
2. Conduct daily safety checks and inspections, including pre-trip checks and maintenance adherence.
3. Load and unload trucks in compliance with policies and DOT regulations.
4. Ensure timely and accurate deliveries, pickups, and documentation.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

1. Maintain company equipment and adhere to policies, including uniform and professional standards.
2. Follow GROWMARK's Code of Conduct, safety policies, and demonstrate FS Way Standards.
3. Perform basic shop maintenance and other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Essential skills in business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making, and skill development.
3. Possess or able to obtain a CDL with endorsements, a valid medical card, and a clean driving record.
4. Work extended hours as needed.
5. Be prepared to work in various conditions, including extreme weather, noisy environments, dust, fumes, chemicals, and at heights.
6. Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and participate in required training.
